Is it still called dew if it’s simply the frost melting as the sun peaks its face into the day?

Has spring “sprung” even if there are yet to be blooms? Rather,  the clouds hang over the mountains on our horizon, dusting them with white. Yet, here in the land closer out my window, the muted, dried up tones of winter transform. Now, we’re surrounded by the once-a-year verdant green this desert only sees in the season of melt.

The season of renewal just hits different here.

For too long, my vast stash of turquoise has lain dormant, waiting to be brought to life once more. As the days grow longer & brighter, my creative wanderings find their way back. A homecoming of sorts. Our beloved turquoise has been back on my bench, infusing this collection with the freshness & vitality of spring it was seeking.
